My friend Jean-Yves said one day something simple but true (so often the case): "Your wines are like our children. We bring them into the world and accompany them on life's road respecting their terroir/character – each a true gem." I'm very fond of this metaphor, which illustrates perfectly our work as vignerons.

The different wines of Domaine Pierre Luneau-Papin respect both their different terroirs and each vintage. Our top wines age well. For instance with our excellent cuvée 'L'd'Or', which is planted on granite and gneiss we can have a fabulous vertical from now back to 1976.

Our Cru Communal 'Excelsior' Schistes de Goulaine offers a journey from 2006 to 2001, the first year of the marvellous adventure of the Crus Communal Muscadet Schistes de Goulaine.

Our Clos 'Les Pierre Blanches' is owned by the Papin family, vignerons in the commune of La Chapelle-Heulin. Monique's grandfather recognised the superb quality of this schisteous terroir and was already making a special cuvée from this vineyard in the early part of the last century.

Today we have no less than eight crus in our range of Muscadets. Equally our Folle Blanche reminds us of the history of Gros Plant in the Pays Nantais, which is such a good match with oysters. Also in our range we have a 'L' Brut de Luneau, a Methode Traditionnelle ( which is a blend of Chardonnay, Folle Blanche, Melon de Bourgogne and Cabernet Franc) as well as easy drinking vin de pays red, rosé and white.
