We propose you a harvest journal with words and pictures...
The beautiful picker's ballet started on tuesday the 30 of august with cloudy blue sky as our summer !
Springtime started very hot, a bit too much, as told olders as "mamie Jeannette", told us a windy and cloudy summer...
Grappes matured during summer but have a little too much rain at the end of season so , because of warm springtime and cloudy summer time, we started earlier this year.
A winegroover and picker vintage !
Many pick out in plots and a lost of 30% on all terroirs.
We started picking "Clos des Allées", young and old plots, "Les Pierres Blanches", Cru's plot "Excelsior", "Ld'Or" and we finished lucky with the Butte's plot of "Terre de pierre".
Plot of "Butte de la Roche" wich it's on a little hill and windy, offered us a mesmerising harvest, a good surprise for pickers because no pick out !
Folle Blanche, Gamay, Merlot and Chardonnay are pick this week.
This Year, staff done a fabulours work in plots with Monique and in cellar with Pierre & Pierre-Marie. Grappes offered to press promise very good wines !
We will have pleasure to taste it together next sringtime!
